“Pets With Love” Pet Adoption Day

A “Pets With Love” Pet Adoption Day was successfully held at D Park, Tsuen Wan on June 9 and 10. Thank you for your support and participation.

More than 16,000 citizens were attracted by this two-day pet adoption event, and it was supported by animal welfare organizations, including Cheung Chau Animal Care, Hong Kong Rabbit Society, Hong Kong Society of Herpetology Foundation, Lifelong Animal Protection, the Society for Abandoned Animals and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

The various activities on these two days were both informative and interesting. Rabbits and reptiles available for rehoming were displayed, and visitors could learn about different types of small animals available for adoption. In addition, there were sharing sessions given by animal welfare organizations, pet adoption consultation service, game booths, interactive digital information panels, a speed sketching booth, workshops and an instant-photo corner.
